For our 40th wedding anniversary Barb wanted a wind sculpture by a local artist, Michael Mistler. Today Michael — with help from our friend Adam — installed the piece. Afterwards I chatted with Michael for a few minutes about his art.

I think we’ll find a day with just a feint breeze will create a more pleasant effect. It’s so precisely balanced a gentle breeze gets the parts moving. No idea what a strong wind will do. I’ll be posting short video clips.
Wow. Sure love your wind sculpture. Need to be there on a windy afternoon sometime to see it work. And enjoyed seeing his website; he’s an exceptional artist.
