Barb took the photo above yesterday morning when she took the dogs out for a romp in the snow. This is Hattie, the new pup. Barb is the Alpha Dog, our best photographer and a great human being. Will post more of her pix later.
Snow Dogs
Barb took the dogs out a few times to play in the snow and as you can see from her video, they love it. Here’s Hattie with her beloved blue ball.
Dog Heaven
This is Sammie. He lives with Henry Domke in the middle of the beautiful Prairie Garden Trust. Like our pups, I’m certain Sammie loves the snow. Here he’s surveying his domain from a bluff overlooking Miller’s Creek. Henry’s uncropped photo gives you a much nicer view of the bluff. Don’t miss it.

This is why we’ve had two dogs for so many years. They love to play. Lucy is making the transition from being the younger dog and Hattie is the same pain in the ass (to the older pup) that Lucy was.

Yes, more puppy porn. I warned you some weeks back. We took Lucy and Hattie to the dog park yesterday to enjoy some leashless freedom. She made some new friends (Z, Chopper, Tara, Jazzie) and had a grand time. Life is good off the leash.
