A good fire and a good dog. I’m not a winter/cold weather person. I like it HOT. But I do enjoy a good fire. Add a sleeping pup and it’s as good as it gets.

Riley’s first snow
Riley on the treadmill
Until we get Riley fitted for her Invisible Fence collar (next week?) she goes out on a leash which means she can’t really run around to burn off her puppy energy. Barb has been training her to walk on the treadmill to get some exercise. She’s getting the hang of it but I’m not seeing puppy joy on her face.

Riley and Hattie after some vigorous play. You can have your newborn babies, for my money there’s no sweeter site than two Golden Retrievers.

One or both of the dogs sleep on the bed with Barb…unless she’s out of town. Then it’s the couch.
Riley doesn’t like riding in the back
Hattie rides up front. That’s non-negotiable. So Riley has to ride in the back and she doesn’t like it. And she’s only there because she is leashed to the spare tire and cannot climb up front.
