I have to be careful with this one in such racially charged times. Cleveland Cavaliers’ superstar LeBron James is on the cover of Vogue with supermodel Gisele Bundchen. The photo was shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovits. I kept thinking, that pose looks familiar. Then it hit me.
If this comparison seems insensitive (or worse), please know that is not my intention. I would like to look as good as either Mr. James or Ms. Bundchen and mean them no disrespect. And if this is not a coincidence, perhaps Ms. Leibovits was –consciously or unconsciously– paying tribute to a film classic.
