I have listened to his radio show frequently and watched his TV show, I think it is now called "Mad Money"--and it is hard to watch, the honking and yelling and spitting and sound effects get to be a little distracting. He manages a charitable trust, called "actionalertsplus.com" and he is the founder of thestreet.com and he has made millions over his career as a hedge fund manager. Having a 1 hour radio program that is syndicated nationwide is probably a waste of time/money when his TV show is reaching roughly the same audience (I bet that people that watch his show also listen to his show, and read his contributions to thestreet.com)--and his stated objective is always to teach people how to make money in the market. I would be interested to know why he is willing to give up his audience, too...but I bet he isn't really giving them up, he will just be better serving them by doing it on the web and on TV.
