Kennett Boy Makes Good.

John Wilder, my brother Blane and I played a good bit of pick-up basketball at the city park in Kennett. I'm ten years older and have not kept in touch. Today it was announced that John has been named president and chief executive of TXU Corp., effective immediately. TXU, I'm told, is the big Texas utility. John will be paid a base salary of $1.25 million, with incentives based on company performance. And he had a funky little lay up we called "The Waiter." Kennett is proud of you John. [Yahoo!
