Click

Went to a not-quite-surprise thing for DeLoss Saturday night. Eight or ten people. Struck up a conversation with David Gandy that felt very html. The answer to each question felt like a link to a more interesting page. Are you a student? (click) Mechanical Engineering at MIT. (click) What are you interested in? (click) And out comes the Power Book, loaded with poetry, images, a couple of movies. A very bright and very talented young man. And while you can't put your life on a notebook computer, David had loaded his with things he cared about and was willing and eager to share them with a stranger who happened to ask. I encourged David to put more of his images online or send some to me so I can. We'll see if David and I can keep in touch.
