Testimonials can be very effective… or very lame. To work, they have to have that no-way-to-fake-it ring of truth. The one below features Kirk Schreiber, the executive director of the Children’s Trust Fund of Missouri. I’ve worked closely with Kirk and his small staff and they are always open to trying new stuff. Very rare in my experience.

I shot the video with the Casio Exilim and edited with iMovie. The 2 minutes was pulled from about 20 minutes of chatting.

I guess you could hire some professional videographer with a lighting and sound crew and spend a few days editing but I’m not sure you’d come up with a more effective testimonial.
