Scott Adams: Flag burning

“It seems to me that the great thing about the flag is that it symbolizes something inherently indestructible: the concept of freedom. You can burn the flag as many times as you want and the concept of freedom is not only still there – it’s stronger. I like that about my flag. I would go so far as to say it’s my flag’s best feature.”

  1. On Flag burning – a great cartoon in the Post Dispatch – It pictured what one might call a “good old boy” at a counter in a diner. He is reading the paper and states. “by gosh, I wish I could live in a country where they couldn’t burn the flag”.
The waitress says, “Well I guess you could move to China, Iraq or Iran”…
    Think about it.
